American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career as an actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt. She also played an accent in FX's short-lived show The Ex List. In the first season of FX's American Horror Story, she starred as Moira O'Hara's young character. She later played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She is also the voice of a variety of characters on the animated comedy series Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she has been starring in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old at which point her mom and her relocated to California [1] where they lived for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to take an interest in acting, singing, and photography when she was 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of 15 to pursue her acting career.
