Steven Tyler

Steven TylerThe band spent time on Boston's club circuit . They were guided by Frank Connelly their first manager. The group then began to collaborate with Steve Leber, David Krebs, New York managers. In 1972 they signed a record contract and released their debut album. The album was followed by Get Your Wings, Toys in the Attic, Rocks and Draw the Line, which brought Aerosmith to fame internationally and recognition. These albums were awash with famous hits like "Dream On", Walk This Way, "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way". Aerosmith's first five albums have been multi-platinum in all of them, as well as Toys in the Attic and Rocks are considered to be among the greatest hard rock albums of all time. The decade passed however, the group's busy schedule of touring, recording and living together started wearing the band down. For their notorious use of drugs and stimulants, Tyler and Perry were often called the Toxic Twins. Their relationship is well documented in many of Aerosmith's videos as well as in Aerosmith Behind the Music. Tyler Perry, who was evidently more dedicated to Aerosmith was able to feel resentful towards Perry's aloofness and envy Perry's focus on females in his life. Aerosmith's steady decline is likely caused by the tension between Tyler and Perry and their once-friendly companions.
