Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and is a competitor with the UFC flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started out in the form of a Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was awarded an award of Silver in 2007 and a Bronze Medal in 2008, a Golden medal in 2011, the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia started her professional career in 2003, and she won her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won unanimously. Antonina Schevchenko set professional MMA records in 2002, when she took on Anara Bazanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She went 3-0, after winning in the second round TKO. Her next two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to focus on her kickboxing and made her comeback with Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko was victorious against Anissa Haddaoui with an unanimous decision. She later defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, by an unanimous vote. After leaving the league in 2018, Shevchenko was a part of Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina defeated Nievera by her superior striking abilities during the clinch final round with knees placed on her body. Antonina accepted the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina took part in her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale in a fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first fight via unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from this loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. The result earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko was 1-2 over the next three fights. She beat Ariane Lipski and lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
